Being a member of the Elk Rapids Area Historical Society is one way you can show your support of an important historical resource in the Elk Rapids community. The Historical Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization.  We do not receive government or taxpayer assistance.  Our income is derived entirely from membership dues, donations, and grants.  Join us in carrying out our mission of exploring the past, understanding the present, and envisioning the future.
