                       Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
The Maritime Museum is the former Sleeping Bear Point U.S. Life-saving Service/Coast Guard Station, 1/4 mile west of Glen Haven. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 10:30am to 5pm; staffed by volunteers of Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Daily breeches-buoy shipwreck rescue demonstration, featuring audience participa­tion, and weekly line-throwing cannon demonstration. National Park Service user fee per vehicle is $7 for one week or $15 a year. Groups may inquire.
