    Benzie Area Historical Museum is housed in an 1887 church building with exhibits on: dolls & toys, AA car ferries, early resorts, historian Bruce Catton, railroads, logging, Civil War. Located in Benzonia on River Road, 1 block south of traffic light at M-115 and US-31. Admission. Museum open May 1 to Nov. 29, Summer: Mon - Sat. 10 to 4. Call for fall hours. (231) 882-5539.
